United Freight and Transport is going to the 2019 National Truck Driving Championships!
United Freight and Transport had three drivers that competed in Alaska’s 20th Annual Truck Driving Championships. All three competing drivers placed! They competed against 79 of Alaska’s best drivers; demonstrating their professionalism, knowledge, commitment to safety, and strong dedication to the trucking industry. They devoted extra hours practicing their driving skills and studying the 2019 Facts for Drivers. State and National competitions consist of a written test, a vehicle inspection, and a timed driving skills course. United Freight drivers worked very hard and it definitely shows, this is a huge win for the United team! Each of these drivers set a great example for their fellow employee with their positive attitude towards safety on a daily basis.

Michael Frye’s 1st place win secured a spot at American Trucking Associations 81st National Truck Driving Championships August 14th– 17th 2019 in Pittsburgh, PA. This competition has a long history-dating back to 1937 when it was known as the National Truck Rodeo. Michael is a passionate, highly skilled professional who practices safety every day. He is working hard gearing up for Nationals, practicing his precision with ever trailer that he moves. We are excited to watch him compete with 430+ of best-of-the-best professional drivers in America.
